I use a Dell keyboard and computer. The keyboard cable has a green attachment, purple for the mouse. Is this extension also coloured the same way at point of connection at the back of the computer?
The green, purple keyboard, mouse connectors usually found on PCs are for PS2 type connectors, also known as 6 pin mini DIN. Suitable PS2 extension cables can be found here.
