Can you guarantee this will output colour?
No, there are, typically three reasons for the failure of the colour signal.
1) The signal between the two devices is encoded differently. Usually we have found that one is using the UK standard, PAL, while the other is using the USA standard NTSC.
2) The colour is OK on short cables but fails on longer cables. In this case customers are using domestic equipment, typically they work on cables up to 5M but fail for any length greater than this. This is because domestic equipment is not designed for long cables.
