AA1652 Frequently Asked Questions
I need to link 2ps2s together so we can play against each other using 2
separate tvs not one as a split screen what leads do I require?
You, can use this cable to link two older style PlayStation 2's. The newer Playstation
2's require a network cable.
The split screen is a game configuration. Please refer to the relevant game
manual.
Sorry I still can not work out how to connect 2 psones. At the back there
is only one connector for the TV and one for the mains lead. At the front there
are 2 spaces for controllers and 2 for memory cards. Still do not know how to
link the 2 psones.
There are two versions of the psones. The latter ones are not fitted with the
port to connect two psones together. The same has happened with the Playstation
2. The model shipped this year no longer has the correct port either.
I want to link two ps1. If I plug this lead into the back of both the playstations
how do I then plug my lead that connects in to the TV in?
On PS1 there should be two connectors. One of these is for the TV and the other
for this cable. To use you will need two copies of the same game which support
sharing. Place a copy of the game in each PS1 and connect them together then follow
the instructions as given by the game.
Is the cable suitable for use as an extension lead? We would like to site
the PS2 further from the TV set than the present cable allows.
This cable is used to connect two Playstations together This allows you to
play against another person.
If you want to extend the TV cable then there are two options:
- SCART
extension cable
- Aerial
Cable extension cable
