AA1820 Frequently Asked Questions

I require a DVI cable for a Sharp LCD with remote box. I guess this would be a dual cable but I note the Sharp set has the four pins missing at the screen end that surround the larger " loop" pin. Is this just something Sharp do and the DVI cable will go by removing these? I also need a DFP to DFP cable, 20 pins of the same length.
We do not know. It sounds as though the cables are specific to the Sharp equipment..

I wish to buy a DVI-I cable which carry both the analogue and digital signal?
No. We do not know why you require both analogue and digital. Older analogue equipment would use the analogue VGA signal only. Newer DVI equipment would use the digital information only. When would you require both to be connect?

What is the difference between dual link and single link connectors?
Dual link cables support resolutions greater than 1600 x 1280.
