I have a standard UK phone which I want to plug into the back of a HP Officejet 7210 printer, fax. Will this item convert from the standard UK phone connector to the female RJ11 socket on the printer, fax?
We believe that it will allow you to plug the phone into the printer, fax but the phone might not ring on incoming calls. A better adapter would be our AA1566 which is a standard UK telephone socket to RJ11 plug adapter including the ring capacitor.

I would like to use a binatone cordless phone I bought in the UK in Malaysia. Is this suitable? How different is this from item AA1566?
This adapter does not generate a local ring signal. This means that some phones will not ring for incoming calls. In these case you require adapter AA1566 which will ring the phone for incoming calls.
