I need to share a zebra lp2844 printer with 6 pcs and I cannot network can you help?
No, I am sorry but we do not stock 6 way switch boxes.

I have in mind using this switch with a DASD device such as a CD writer or memory stick. I would like to be able to write to the device with a time scheduled task and then read from it on another computer with a similarly time scheduled task.
Possible?
You would need to write your own device driver. The one supplied is for printers only. We do not have any technical information but am sure you would be able to reverse engineer the device drive with a suitable USB analyser.

My current printer cable, USB, goes to the switch. What cable do I require from the switch to my two computers?
Any of our USB cables would be suitable
