The DVI connector only carries the picture, it does not support sound. You will need to connect the sound output of the Playstation 3 separately.

No, the DVI connector does not support sound

You will need to check your G4. If it has a "standard" DVI cable then then you can use these.

Some G4 have an Apple specific DVI connector. If this is the case then you will need to ask Apple for a suitable cable.

If your G4 has a SVGA or VGA output (15 pins in 3 rows) then unfortunately you can not connect it to your plasma.
