Where does the i-link cable fit the laptop. I am looking at the I-link cable to connect my Sony hc42e minidv to my IBM T 42 laptop.
You can not use this cable as your IBMT42 does not have an ILink port. You require a laptop with an iLink port, also known as Firewire.
