Is this a step down converter. The plug is a very good idea, are you planning to do a step down converter for USA products shipped over here to UK?
No, this is not a step down converter. It assumes the USA device will run with UK mains voltage and frequency. It only changes the plug connections, not the voltage nor the frequency.
We have no plans for a step down version. There are plenty of step down converters already available from other manufactures.

I am looking for a plug adapter to us a Mac powerbook. The spec is:
Input: AC 100 - 240 volts, V, 50/60 Hertz
Output: DC 24.5C, 1.875A
to use in the UK.?
Yes, As the AC to DC adapter is rated up to the UK mains of, nominally 230 volts, 50Hz. So can be connected to the UK mains system. You might also like to consider our other USA to UK adapter, AA2243

Do you have this product for a three pronged, grounded US plug to a UK plug?
We do not stock this item at present.

I would really prefer a black version of this converter but have ordered white in the meantime. Will you be getting any black ones into stock?
We do not know. We continue to order black, checking that they are in stock, that we have the correct part number but we always receive white.
