AA2368 USB Floppy Disk Drive Mac OS Instillation

Mac OS 9 or later

With Mac OS 9, you do not need to install any driver. The required driver is already embedded within the Mac OS.

  1. Click the floppy disk icon once to highlight the icon.
  2. Select "Eject" from the "Special" menu or "Put Away" from the "File" menu. Alternatively, you can drag the floppy disk icon to trash.
  3. Wait for the status indicator led on the front panel of the USB Floppy disk drive to turn off.
  4. Push the eject button on the front panel of the USB floppy disk drive to eject the floppy disk.

Mac System X

To connect an external drive to your Mac:
  1. Use the USB cable to connect the device to the USB port on your computer.
  2. Once you connect USB floppy drive to your computer, the drive appears on the Desktop as a mounted volume.
  3. To copy files to it, just drag and drop any file, folder, or application onto the volume icon. If you double-click the volume to open it, you can add folders (press Command-Shift-N) to help organise your content.
  4. When you're finished, drag the volume icon to the Trash (it turns into an Eject icon) to unmount the device. You can now safely disconnect the drive.
