AA2368 USB Floppy Disk Drive Mac OS Instillation
Mac OS 9 or later
With Mac OS 9, you do not need to install any driver. The required driver is
already embedded within the Mac OS.
- Click the floppy disk icon once to highlight the icon.
- Select "Eject" from the "Special" menu or "Put Away"
from the "File" menu. Alternatively, you can drag the floppy disk icon
to trash.
- Wait for the status indicator led on the front panel of the USB Floppy disk
drive to turn off.
- Push the eject button on the front panel of the USB floppy disk drive to eject
the floppy disk.
Mac System X
To connect an external drive to your Mac:
- Use the USB cable to connect the device to the USB port on your computer.
- Once you connect USB floppy drive to your computer, the drive appears on the
Desktop as a mounted volume.
- To copy files to it, just drag and drop any file, folder, or application onto
the volume icon. If you double-click the volume to open it, you can add folders
(press Command-Shift-N) to help organise your content.
- When you're finished, drag the volume icon to the Trash (it turns into an
Eject icon) to unmount the device. You can now safely disconnect the drive.
