Introduction

The KVM switch lets you take instant command over multiple computers with one PS/2 keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor.

Features

Loose free cables

Unique 3-in-1 cables with one locking connector for integrated PS/2 keyboard, mouse and monitor signal. The complete configuration offers the most reliable connection. All connectors are PC99 colour coded and double shielded.

Hot key Control

Hot keys allow you to select computers using a simple 3 key sequences on your keyboard at any time.

High Video Resolution

With advanced video circuit and the coaxial 3-in-1 KVM cables, the switch is able to support video resolution of up to 2048 x 1563, making it ideal for all applications.

LED Status Indicator

Computer selection status is easily readable from the indicator.

Auto Scan

This feature enables you to scan and monitor activity if all the operating computers one by one.

System Requirements

Computers with PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse and HDB15 VGA connector.

Operating System: Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME and XP, Linux and Novell

PS/2 Keyboard, mouse and VGA/SVGA/Multisync monitor or LCD, TFT monitor.

Operation

After all devices and cable kits are properly installed, you are ready to turn on your computers. The KVM switch will emulate a keyboard and mouse on each port allowing your computers to boot up at any time.

Yo can select any computer to operate by hot key commands. The hot key commands is a fixed sequence of keystrokes starting with two left "ctrl" keys

left CTRL left CTRL 1 Selects computer 1
left CTRL left CTRL 2 Selects computer 2
left CTRL left CTRL 3 Selects computer 3
left CTRL left CTRL 4 Selects computer 4
left CTRL left CTRL F1 Auto scan automatically switches from one active computer to the other at fixed intervals, enabling you to monitor their activity automatically. Auto scan suspends when mouse or keyboard activity is detected and auto scan resumes until the activity stops.
left CTRL left CTRL F2 Previous/Next enables you to easily switch from the currently active computer to the previous or the next computer ion the sequence by pressing up arrow or down arrow key. You can press any other key to abort operation.
Left CTRL left CTRL F3 Sets auto scan interval with one of the 4 options (3, 8, 15 and 30 seconds)
Note: Auto scan interval is automatically set to the default of 3 seconds when all the connecting computers are turned off.
Left CTRL left CTRL F4 Adjusts keyboard typematic rate (characters/second), repeating the same keystroke when a key is held down. Four options are available 10, 15, 20 to 30 characters per second.
Note: the keyboard typematic rate is automatically set to the default of 10 characters per second when all the connecting computers are turned off.
