Connect your SATA device
- Connect the adapter to the DC jack
Make sure the power switch is "Off" before you connect the SATA device
to the SATA adapter
- Connect the SATA adapter to the SATA device.
- Attach the AC adapter to the AC outlet
Using with a PC
- Start your computer and wait until widows has been loaded.
- Turn on the power of the adapter. The status LED turns from on to off as soon
as the device is ready.
- Connect the USB to corresponding port on your PC.
- Windows recognises the connected adapter automatically.
- Before you unplug or turn off the power of the adapter while windows is running.
Ensure disable the connection from the "safe remove utility" which is located
in the task bar. Failure to do this, might result in loss of data.
Using with a Mac
- Start your computer and wait until the OS has been loaded.
- Turn on the power of the adapter. The STATUS LED turns from on to off as soon
as the device is ready.
- Connect the USB cable to the corresponding port of your computer.
- MAC recognises the connected device automatically.
- Before you unplug or turn off the power of the SATA adapter while the MAC
is running. Ensure you drag the icon into the trash before removing the
SATA adapter. Failure to do this, might result in loss of data.
