AA3108 how to:

Display one source on upto 3 monitors

Connect video source to input 2 or 3 as appropriate. Connect TV monitors to socket 1, "TV" SCART socket and parallel interface phono, RCA sockets. Use RECORD Push button "2>1" or "3>1" to view TV monitor on socket 1. To use parallel interface output sockets an adapter lead from SCART to 3 phono, RCA, will be required. N.B. A slight loss may be noticeable especially on older monitors as the AA3108 is passive and has no amplification.

Record one source whilst recording another or record 2 sources and watch one

Connect video sources to inputs 2 or 3 as appropriate. Connect the recording VCRs to input 1 and the parallel interface phono, RCA sockets, a SCART to 3 RCA, phono lead will be required if VCR only has SCART socket. Connect TV to "TV" SCART Socket.

Play all sound through your amplifier

Connect your hi-fi to AA3108 using parallel interface phono, RCA sockets marked R, audio right, and L, audio left and connect to AUX INPUT socket on your amplifier. If listening to sound from equipment connected to AA3108 inputs, push the "View" push button corresponding to the Input Number; the Slide Switch should be set to "TV IN". If listening to output from TV itself, Terrestrial TV, Slide Switch must be set to "TV OUT".

This will automatically switch TV to RGB mode (using pin 16 on SCART plug)
To return to normal Video mode, the RGB switch must be released.
