A mains powered preamplifier unit which enables turntable and low current equipment to be connected to amplifiers with LINE level inputs. Suitable for RIAA cartridges.
This RIAA preamplifier has a specifically tailored frequency response for photographic records. Records are cut with an approximately flat amplitude. However, magnetic pickups, on the other hand respond, to velocity. So a playback amplifier with rising bass response is required.
