Ultra 320 is the latest evolution in SCSI, it is backwards compatible with other SCSI types of the same connector, but with reduced data transfer. Ultra 320 runs as 320 Mbytes/sec and required LVD signalling, the maximum allowable cable length is 12M (with more than two active SCSI devices)
