This shuttered secondary telephone socket is designed for use as an extension line socket.Fitting Instructions
- Connect the EARTH wire or wires to the terminal marked E, EARTH, bare earth
wire or wires must be covered with green and yellow PVC sleeving. - Carefully move about 40 mm of earth from the cable and 3 mm of insulation
from each wire. - It is normal to have only four wires on domestic installations, i.e. terminal
1 and 6 are not used. - Connect wires to terminals, ensure that all terminals are tightened securely.
